MATI GELMAN
Mati Gelman is a self-taught commercial and fine art photographer. Born in Hungary, he grew up in Israel, where he earned a Bachelors in Biochemistry and a Masters in Chemistry, before moving to New York City, where he discovered photography. Mati’s images explore sexuality and human integration with nature, sparking a sense of unease. Originally a chemist manipulating matter and molecules, Mati now manipulates pictures and pixels in exploration of context and meaning.
